This autonomy allows the cell to work uninterruptedly 24 hours a day, changing location as needed. To move the installation, the AGV follows a line drawn on the ground, to which codes can be added and read by the vehicle to make mobility decisions. The automated guided vehicle and the agility of the collaborative robot make this palletising cell extremely versatile. With this new proposal, only one robotic cell that moves from one point to another of the process in a pre-programmed way would be needed. Having an industrial robot for each production line would be a very unprofitable investment. There are factories that have several production lines and only work one at a time, as is the case of many companies dedicated to food. The integration of the AGV and the collaborative robot manages to break down many barriers that some companies experience on their way to automation. These collaborative robots are ideal for all kinds of applications, especially palletizing, handling, and loading and unloading. Thanks to the HC20, both large and multiple parts can be handled simultaneously. The latter model has been an important turning point in collaborative robotics by allowing work with a higher load. In order to achieve agile development, two collaborative robot models are used from YaskawaThe HC10 and HC20, which have 6 axes and a load capacity of 10 and 20 kilos respectively. The collaborative robot palletizes the boxes For this purpose, the robot is placed on a compact platform which, in addition to being the support, makes it easy to transport. The project consists of a mobile palletizing cell that moves around the factory thanks to the AGV ( self-guiding vehicle) from Atlas Robots.
